Interlibrary Loan

Colorado State University faculty, staff and students are eligible to use local document delivery and Interlibrary loan. All requests are made through ILLiad, the online Interlibrary Loan service.  To use this service, log in to ILLiad.

Users may request as many items as they need whether the item is owned by Colorado State University Libraries or by another library. There is no charge to CSU users for this service. Please see our FAQ for further information.

Online articles generally arrive within 24 hours. You will receive an email to log in to your ILLiad account to retrieve your article from the Electronically Delivered articles on your account. They can be downloaded to your computer.

Books typically take a week to ten days to arrive.  Most items have a 6 week loan period, are not renewable and may be recalled by the lending library at any time.  You may pick up your books at the Morgan Library Loan & Reserve Desk or at the Vet Hospital Library Desk. In addition, you may request that books be mailed to an address you choose. Whether you pick up your books at the library or have them mailed to you, you will receive an email notifying you that they are ready for pickup or that they have been mailed to your address.

Books may be returned to the Interlibrary Loan office, the Loan & Reserve Desk, or at the dropbox located near the entrance of the Morgan Library, or by mailing with the mailing label provided.
