Prospector
Prospector enables CSU students, faculty, and staff to request books, videos and selected bound journals from other Colorado and Wyoming libraries. Community patrons can only use Prospector if they have a library card from another Prospector borrowing library (such as Poudre Libraries).
Requesting an item
If your item is unavailable, there are tow ways to request it through Prospector.
Use our online catalog
- Find your item in the search results and click on the title
- Under Find a Copy, click the “Search in Prospector” link
Use Prospector directly
- Visit Prospector online and search for your item
- Find your item in the search results and click the Request It button
Picking up an item
We’ll notify you by email when your item is ready for pick up at Morgan Library. It typically takes about a week from the time the request is made.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
CSU students, faculty and staff can request materials via Interlibrary Loan if they’re not available at the CSU Libraries or through Prospector.

CSU students, faculty, and staff can use their RamCard as a Poudre Libraries library card.
