Its strengths include collections on Germans from Russia who settled in Northern Colorado, papers of feminists and feminist organizations, the American Music Therapy Association, organ builder Lawrence Phelps, audio and video interviews from the Northern Colorado Veteran’s Oral History Project,  the records of the Institute for Shipboard Education (also known as Semester at Sea), papers and mages taken by wildlife photographer Warren Garst, and other regional topics.
