Community Borrower Services

Community borrowers are Colorado residents 18+ years old or CSU alumni. You’ll need a community borrower card to use most of our services.

Services at Morgan Library

  • Borrow library books and other materials
  • Use a public computer for up to 2 hours a day
  • Connect your own device to our “csu-net” wi-fi network with no time limit
  • Use online library resources like databases, full-text journals, and e-books
  • Pay to print.
    • Once you have received your library card, you can use a kiosk to add money using a $1 bill.
    • If you prefer to use a credit card to add money to your account, you will need to do this at the RamCard Office in the Lory Student Center.

Using resources off-campus

All community borrower services are in-person only, except for loan renewals and requesting items available at the library. Access to online library resources is only available at Morgan Library.

Requesting materials from other libraries

Our request services like Interlibrary Loan and Prospector aren’t available to community borrowers, but local libraries usually have similar services. We recommend you ask the Poudre Libraries or your local library.
