Areas to Support:

Understanding the past not only engages Coloradans in the heritage of Colorado, but also provides important perspectives for the future. Through acquiring, preserving, and promoting materials of Colorado’s agricultural past, the Colorado Agricultural Archive at Colorado State University Libraries puts knowledge in the hands of our community to inform and enhance the understanding of our state’s agrarian efforts, past and present.

Housed in the Morgan Library on the Colorado State University campus, the Colorado Agricultural Archive is home to the materials of over twenty Colorado agricultural organizations as well as the records of individuals whose work is critical to understanding Colorado’s agricultural heritage. These records are open year-round for public study and our archives and special collections staff are onsite to assist patrons with their research.

Your support will help develop and enhance the Colorado Agricultural Archive by:

  • Obtaining additional public and private collections to continue to build the Archive
  • Process, maintain, preserve and enhance the collections and an Archive Web Site
  • Expand and customize the current Web site for access by diverse audiences
  • Form key collaborative agreements and partnerships to enhance the collection
  • Encourage greater use of the archive by hosting outreach events
