Library Giving Priorities
Message from the Dean
As the intellectual and interdisciplinary nexus for the CSU community and Colorado residents, we at Colorado State University Libraries are here to provide the tools and guidance necessary to engage with the global information landscape.
We are conscientiously working to promote equitable access to knowledge that empowers expansive learning, intellectual growth, and joyful discovery for a sustainable, thriving planet and flourishing communities. These efforts include partnering with faculty and instructors to improve student success in the classroom, collaborating with students and University stakeholders to increase textbook affordability, supporting first-year students and professional researchers in becoming better critical thinkers and scholars, and answering countless questions online and in-person.
I invite you to explore our 2021 Strategic Plan to see our goals in action and discover where your support can make a meaningful impact in the lives of every student, every instructor, every researcher, and every Coloradan—every day.

Dean of Libraries
Library Giving Priorities
Library Student Employee Support
Employing more than 100 students, the Libraries is a major student employer on CSU’s campus. Your gift allows us to support even more students through meaningful employment and real-world work experiences, empowering students to thrive academically and professionally.
Electronic Resources and Services
Each year, more than 1 million remote users access the Libraries’ databases, digital services, and electronic resources such as laptops on long-term loan, and online journals and e-books. Your support provides students, faculty, and staff with the resources they need to succeed in their academic journey and develop scholarship and research endeavors that contribute to society.
Archives & Special Collections: Rocky Mountain Collegian Digitization
As one of the oldest collegiate newspapers in the Western United States, the Rocky Mountain Collegian, CSU’s student newspaper, provides a snapshot of student and campus life not found anywhere else. Give today to help digitize past editions of the Collegian so students, faculty, staff, and researchers can access the rich history of Colorado’s land grant institution.
