Prospector
Prospector is a central catalog of more than twenty Colorado and Wyoming libraries. CSU students, faculty, and staff may request books, videos, and selected bound journals through Prospector. Community borrowers may use this feature if they have a borrower's card with a different member library such as the Fort Collins Public Library.
Prospector items typically take 3 - 5 business days for delivery. The status of Prospector items may be checked through the View Patron Record feature on our library catalog. Library users are notified via email or postal mail when items are ready for pick-up. We highly recommend that patrons register their email to receive quick notification.
Non-media Prospector items circulate for a period of three weeks and may be renewed for an additional three weeks. Prospector Media items (i.e. videos, DVDs, etc.) and bound journals (from the PASCAL facility in Denver) circulate for a period of one week and may not be renewed. Up to a total of 40 Prospector items may be requested per patron.
