| Abstract: | Mary Alice Lindblad, teacher, author and resident of rural Severance, Colorado, was born on April 21, 1921. She is the author of two local histories: A Walk Through Windsor, 1940-1980 and Tales of Tailholt: The Story of Severance (1985). The collection consists of papers and audio-visual materials (1913-1985) used in writing her Tales of Tailholt. Included is biographical information of early families and their relatives in the Severance area. There are also glass plate negatives, photographs, clippings, photocopies of a variety of documents supporting her research, and one cassette tape interview. | |

Mary Alice Lindblad, teacher, author and resident of rural Severance, Colorado, was born on April 21, 1921. She received an M.A. from Colorado State College, Greeley, in 1960, and taught in the Windsor school system for more than 20 years. She is the author of two local histories: A Walk Through Windsor, 1940-1980 (1980) and Tales of Tailholt: The Story of Severance (1985). Mary Alice Lindblad is married to Burnice E. Lindblad.

Papers of Mary Alice Lindblad, Colorado Agricultural Archive, Colorado State University.
The Papers of Mary Alice Lindblad was acquired by the Colorado Agricultural Archives in November 1985.
Processing was completed in September 2004. Materials were placed in acid free folders and reboxed, and metal fasteners were removed.
