Records of the Gilpin-Jefferson Livestock Association, Colorado Agricultural Archive, Colorado State University.
The Records of the Gilpin-Jefferson Livestock Association was donated to the Colorado Agricultural Archive of the Colorado State University Libraries by the association president, Steve M. Barratt, on November 30, 2007. Additional materials were donated on September 23, 2008.
Processing was completed in September 2008. Materials were re-housed in acid-free folders, letters were unfolded, and metal paper clips were replaced with plastic clips or paper folders. Acidic documents and newspaper clippings were interleaved with acid-free paper. Duplicate copies of flyers were removed, and posters were moved to an oversized folder. The files, originally arranged by year, were rearranged by series.
