Library Laptops

HP laptops and MacBooks are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. One-week and 6-hour laptop loans are available. Laptops cannot be renewed. When returning, please back-up all personal files to an external device or to the cloud, and log-out of all accounts. Each device is wiped of patron personal information and sanitized upon return. Deleted files cannot be recovered.

Some colleges and schools have their own laptop loan program for students majoring in their areas who don’t have access to a laptop. These are a few of them, but we recommend contacting your major department to see if they have a laptop loan program.

All Students:

All students, regardless of major, can borrow a laptop for 6 hours through the Exploratory Technology Resource Center at the Behavioral Sciences Building by emailing UTRC_checkout@mail.colostate.edu.

College of Business:

Business students can get information about short-term laptop loans by contacting help@business.colostate.edu.

College of Engineering:

College of Engineering students can temporarily borrow a laptop through Engineering Technology Services.

College of Natural Sciences

College of Natural Sciences students can borrow laptops by contacting cns_helpdesk@Mail.Colostate.edu.

College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences:

CVMBS students can borrow a laptop from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Library.

Warner College of Natural Resources

WCNR has laptops available for short term and multi-day check out.
