Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan offices have moved from the basement of Morgan Library to the second floor, office area 210.

Interlibrary Loan is a free service to CSU students, faculty and staff that works cooperatively with other libraries at the local, national and international level to help borrow and lend books, articles and other materials promptly, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Online articles generally arrive within 24 hours. You will receive an email to log in to your ILLiad account to retrieve your article from the Electronically Delivered articles on your account. They can be downloaded to your computer.

Books typically take a week to ten days to arrive.  Loan periods are set by the owning library and are not renewable but generally a 3 month loan. If you find you need the book longer, make another request and we will be happy to get another copy from another library.

You may pick up your books at the Library Services desk in Morgan Library or at the Vet Hospital Library Desk. In addition, if you live outside of Ft Collins, you may request that books be mailed to an address you choose. Faculty may have their items mailed to their campus office. Whether you pick up your books at the library or have them mailed to you, you will receive an email notifying you that they are ready for pickup or that they have been mailed to your address.

Books may be returned to the Interlibrary Loan office, the Library Services desk, or at the dropbox located near the entrance of the Morgan Library, or by mailing with the mailing label provided.
