In the spring of 2007, writing and reading groups will form at the Sterling Public Library in preparation for a visit by an author of national renowned.
In the April of 2007, Linda Hasselstrom will read from her work and lead a writing workshop. A local author will lead writing workshops before and after the visiting author’s visit.
Known as the Queen City of the Plains, Sterling is located in Logan County in the Northeastern corner of Colorado on Interstate 76. Having the largest population, estimated at approximately 13,900, of those communities in east of Pueblo, Sterling is the regional shopping hub for Northeast Colorado and Southwest Nebraska.
