Workshop

Thomas Glasco lead a writing workshop in Morgan County in the spring of 2006 both online and in-person via the Fort Morgan Public Library.

Biography

Thomas Glasco

Thomas Glasco, one of twelve children, was reared on a farm in Cheyenne Country Kansas near St. Francis, where he attended and graduated from a one-room country school. For his graduation ceremony he memorized and recited a poem entitled "The Twins." Now he reads from his own books. He is the author of four books of poetry, Take Hold My Heart, Mucd on a Stick, Follow the Swans, and Under the Mulberry Tree. The books are available at the Book Nook in Fort Morgan.

He graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in English from Kearney State College and received his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. After a twenty-five year career as a clinical therapist, writing is now his life. He is the recipient of the Milestone Award at the 1999 Wyoming Writer's Convention.
