Hint: Time for research

Research takes time, just as it takes time to do math homework or read a book.

Think hours when you need to do a research project, not minutes. If you finish quickly, great! but if you don't give yourself enough time, you will have problems.

Save time by asking for help.

Don't spend more than 20 minutes (or an hour) looking unsuccessfully for a book, article, or Web page. Ask a librarian for help.

Choose something you can do.

It is better to finish a project you can do than to waste time on a difficult or impossible one.

Be willing to change your subject when you start your research project. Choose a subject with a lot of information on it.
