We next did a word search in the CSU library catalog (SAGE) for:

• fashion and history

Since many history books about fashion cover the twentieth century-or even particular decades in the twentieth century-we also searched:

• fashion and (decade-sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties)
  
• fashion and twentieth century
  

We found many titles that sounded promising.
