What is FindIt?

FindIt is a service which allows you to:

  • View the full text of an article online
  • Request delivery of the book, article or document through Interlibrary Loan
  • Check the Sage Library Catalog to see if CSU owns the item
  • Check Prospector to see if another Colorado library owns the item
  • Search the Web for an article

How do I use FindIt?

Try this service, go to:

  • Databases

    • Search any database marked with an FindIt symbol. sfx symbol
    • After searching, click on the FindIt button.
    • The location and appearance of the button will vary. SFX @ CSU or FindIt@CSU or SFX@CSU
    • A window will appear that will list all the options available for that article. Choose the option (such as full text) that interests you.

  • Full Text Electronic Journals

    • Click on the first letter of your favorite journal title, find the journal in the list and then click on the FindIt button SFX @ CSU to see what options are available.
    • A window will appear that will list all the options available for that journal. Choose the option (such as full text) that interests you.
    • Type in a journal title (at minimum) and any additional information and then click on the FindIt button to see what options are available.
