Library Catalog (Sage)

Question

What is JavaScript and why do I need it?

Answer

JavaScript is a interpreted programming language. It enables popup windows, changing text or images during mouse rollovers, and other features. Both Microsoft and Netscape browsers support JavaScript, but in slightly different ways. JavaScript is not required to use the Library Catalog (Sage) or the Colorado State University Libraries' Web site. However, browsers with JavaScript enabled will have access to critical features. The directions for turning on JavaScript are different for the various browsers. For more help, go to Help with JavaScript.
