Shakespeare, William

The Bard. Of Avon. One of, if not the, best known writers in English. Also known to sound really good in German.

Courses offered at CSU include ECC 242 Reading Shakespeare, E 342 Shakespeare I, and E 343 Shakespeare II. English majors are required to take either Shakespeare I or Shakespeare II to graduate. This Web page has links to information about his works, his life, and information on how to identify relevant sources using Morgan Library's materials on these and related topics. Depending on your Shakespearean research topic, you may need to consult materials outside of the "literary" arena--for example history and society are worth examination when studying literature.
