Historical Resources:

  • Foreign Relations of the United States.   S1.1  Doc
    This is a core primary resource.  The CSU library has 1862-1866 and 1908-1976.  Publication lags behind events by as much as 30 years.  A number of volumes from 1861 to 1960 can be found online at the University of Wisconsin.  A number of volumes from 1945 through 1976 can also be found online at the Department of State.

    Includes major policy documents.  The CSU library owns 1950-1956; 1962; and 1981-1990.

    Useful for background information, including a chronology of diplomatic history and visits by heads of state.
