Federal Publications Resources: Technical Reports

There are two major microfiche collections of federal government technical reports at the CSU library:

I.   Journal Room

The collections in the Journal Room are arranged by call number.  The individual reports can be found in the library catalog (Sage).  Many series are ongoing.  The more extensive include:
C13.58:      NOAA Technical Memorandums
E1.28:         DOE Contractor Research and Development Reports
E1.99:         DOE Contract Reports and Publications
NAS 1.15:  NASA Technical Memorandums
NAS 1.26:  NASA Contractor Reports

II.   Lower-Level (Basement)

This collection is in a group of microfiche cabinets located at the north end of the Lower Level, West.  This collection dates from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.  The individual reports are NOT represented in the Sage catalog.  Entry numbers must be obtained from the NTIS database and searched against the collection.  Most of the reports are from NOAA, NASA, and the Commerce Department.  Among the major series are the following:
AD13381--AD923-285 (most are AD600 through AD800)
PB83999 -- PB97-121610
X64-15099 --X70-14939
