SRM promotes the professional development and continuing education of members and the public and the stewardship of rangeland resources
  • Colorado Chapter of the Society for Range Management
Information about the programs and mission of the Colorado Chapter of SRM.
  • Colorado State University Range Ecology Program
The Student Chapter of the Colorado Section of the Society for Range Management
  • Sustainable Rangelands Roundtable
The SRR promotes social, ecological, and economic sustainability of rangelands through the development and widespread use of the criteria and indicators for rangeland assessments, and by providing a forum for dialogue on sustainability of rangelands
  • Center for Riparian Ecology and Management (CREAM)
The Center for Riparian Ecology and Management (CREAM) uses the ecosystem approach in both its research and educational activities. The Center draws on expertise from faculty and scientists at Colorado State University in the Warner College of Natural Resources, the University of Wyoming, the USDA Agricultural Research Service, and the U. S. Forest Service.
  • Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML)
CEMML is a team of environmental professionals experienced in the conservation and sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense lands. CEMML provides technical services to support the military's national defense mission. Military lands are critical assets for training and testing activities, but they also harbor diverse (and oftentimes rare) flora and fauna and cultural resources that must be protected.
  • American Farmland Trust
American Farmland Trust has helped win permanent protection for over a million acres of American farmland. Our hard work and sound strategies unite farmers, policymakers, and environmentalists.
  • Colorado Cattlemen's Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT).
CCALT's primary emphasis is to increase awareness among agricultural landowners about the use of conservation easements as a means of protecting land and as a tool for facilitating the inter-generational transfer of productive lands.
  • Shortgrass Steppe (SGS) Long-term Ecological Research (LTER) Project
SGS LTER is one of 24 sites in the national network of LTER sites supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Other contributors include: the ARS Great Plains Rangeland Resources Research Unit, the USFS Pawnee National Grasslands Ranger District, and the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES).
  • Colorado Natural Heritage Program
The Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP) tracks and ranks Colorado's rare and imperiled species and habitats, and provides information and expertise on these topics to promote the conservation of Colorado's valuable biological resources. CNHP also offers a wide range of related services including biological monitoring, research, mapping, and conservation planning services.
  • Natural Resource Ecology Lab
The driving goal of NREL science is to increase the fundamental understanding of our environment, through collaborative application of ecology and ecosystem science principles which contribute to policy and management decisions promoting sustainability.
  • Pingree Park
Pingree Park campus lies in a beautiful mountain valley within sight of the Rocky Mountain National Park, Comanche Peak Wilderness Area, and Roosevelt National Forest. At this outstanding location, your group is removed from the hectic pace of urban life and can experience and enjoy nature while participating in your conference.
