Saved Search Alerts

  1. Click on "My NCBI - Register." You will be prompted to set up a username and password and provide an e-mail address.
  2. Before you can save a search you will have to log into your e-mail account and confirm that the address is correct. There will be a link to follow to confirm that NCBI has the correct information.
  3. Return to "My NCBI." Sign in and perform your search in PubMed as you would normally. Click on "Save Search" next to the "GO" button.
  4. You will be prompted to name your search and choose the frequency of your e-mail updates. For Format choose HTML if you want to have a link to CSU resources. Choose Text if you want to export to EndNote.
