Saved Search Alerts
EBSCO - is the name of the platform (vendor) that hosts the databases listed below. The interface will look the same when searching all of the following databases and the process for setting up an alert will be the same.
- Click on “Sign in to My Ebsco Host” at the top left of the Ebsco Academic screen. (enter your user name and password, or set up an account if it is your first time to use this service)
- Run the search you want. You may run searches by author, keyword, keyword then a selected journal source, etc.
- Click on “Search History/Alerts” tab near the middle of the page
- Click on “Save Searches/Alerts” under the Search History/Alerts tab. The Save Searches/Alters tab is towards the right side of the screen.
- Set up an alert, which will allow Ebsco to email you the search results automatically. Alerts is the last of the three options.
- Complete the E-Mail properties section and click Save.
