Most wildlife conflicts in the United States involve animals that fall into 1 of 3 categories: ungulates (e.g. deer, elk, antelope), rodents ( e.g., beavers, rats, mice, voles) or carnivores (e.g., mountain lions, coyotes, wolves, foxes). Other mammals include wild (feral) pigs, opossums, moles and bats. Additionally, reptiles such as snakes, and alligators, and amphibians (toads and frogs) can cause problems.
