Live data jacks are available west of the Computer Lab area and third floor, northwest.
DATA RECOVERY

DATABASE

DATABASE MANAGEMENT (DBM)
Unit of the BIBLIOGRAPHIC CONTROL AND ELECTRONIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT in the TECHNICAL SERVICES DIVISION. Maintains the quality of  the online cataloging information on SAGE by resolving and correcting errors and conflicts, and implementing approval changes.  This unit: (1) modifies BIBLIOGRAPHIC RECORDS to reflect needed access points and provide AUTHORITY CONTROL, (2) modifies and deletes bibliographic records and updates and links HOLDINGS RECORDS to reflect additions, transfers, and withdrawals, (3) helps to test and evaluate new modules and enhanced versions of the online catalog (SAGE) and performs quality checks on current loaders and modules, and (4) provides training and expertise for DATABASE problems.
DATABASE SEARCH INTERFACE
A GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE used to search a database.
DATABASE VENDORS
Database vendors are businesses and companies that specialize in creating, developing and maintaining databases of articles, some being citations, or full text. DIGITAL OBJECT IDENTIFIER (DOI)
The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a system for identifying and exchanging intellectual property in the digital environment. It provides a framework for managing intellectual content, for linking customers with content suppliers, for facilitating electronic commerce, and enabling automated copyright management for all types of media.
