About This Site
Design
The present site, released March 2007, features examples of student research conducted at Colorado State University and includes entries from the ISTeC Student Research Poster Contest. It was designed and developed by various staff of the CSU Libraries with assistance from Dr. Denis Dean.
Technical information
The digital posters in this collection were submitted as PDF files, which were used without modification as the access objects. Thumbnails were derived by saving a screenshot of each PDF file as a JPEG image, then adjusting size and resolution in Adobe Photoshop.
The posters are stored in CONTENTdm, a digital collection management database application developed by DiMeMa and marketed by OCLC. The collection also contains metadata (descriptive and technical) for each of the digital posters.
