Company and Industry Resources for Job Hunters

There are numerous resources available to you as a student to aid in your search for company and industry information. The library’s research databases are most helpful. You can access these from anywhere on campus via the library’s homepage. You can also access them from home (see below).

Where are the databases?

Quick link: http://lib.colostate.edu/databases/ Or, for future reference: Go to the Libraries' homepage and click on “Research Databases” under “Collections.”

Off – campus access to databases (you’ll have to create a PIN)

  • click on "My Accounts" from Libraries' homepage
  • click on the link for “My Record - login ”
  • make up a library PIN… (problems creating, accessing?? Contact the Loan/Reserve desk and they’ll help you sort it out at 491-1842)
  • Research Databases - Online company and industry information

    Access the databases through the library homepage. Click on "Research Databases" listed under "Collections." Databases are organized by title and subject. The following databases are best for company and industry research. You can find them by title on the Libraries' databases page. http://lib.colostate.edu/databases/

      Hoover's company reports (look under "sources" tab) and some industry reports
      Financials (Disclosure financial reports and stock reports)
