Dial-up (Modem) Internet Connection
Requirements:Any laptop with a modem, a telephone cord, and an Internet Service Provider (ISP) subscription.
Telephone cords are available for check-out from the Loan & Reserve Desk, first floor.
Where to connect: A live telephone jack located on the first floor of the library is designated for laptop modem connection.
How to Configure: To establish a dial-up connection outside the university, prefix the telephone number for you local Internet Service Provider (ISP) with the number "8." Long distance dialing is not supported.
