Color plots can be made on a 42-inch wide Hewlett-Packard color plotter. Costs for the new 42-inch plots are available at the Help Desk, payable at the time of service with MasterCard/Visa or on Account with your University ID card.
Departments needing to plot can pay with an A-card or a departmental account number. To bill to an account number, the following information is needed: Department Name, Department Number, Department Phone Number, Name of Individual purchasing plot, and Account Number to be billed.
Note: we can no longer accept the plotting cards purchased from the University ID office, as the card reading equipment is damaged beyond repair. If you have a remaining balance on your plotting card, your balance can be transferred to a copy card by the University ID office (in the Lory Student Center).
Plotting is available on a first-come/first-served basis. Plots may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours depending on demand and file size.
Please try to use one the following recommended programs for plotting: Photoshop, Illustrator, or PowerPoint.
For the best results, review the CAT large format guidelines prior to building your plots.
