That since Firefox (Mozilla's browser) is available on the computers (as, I think, it should be) that the library ought to have the flash plug-ins installed in them so that it's able to use that huge chunk of the web...especially since it's less desirable to use flash on IE than FF, I think, from a security standpoint.

RESPONSE:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The Flash plug-in will be added to the Firefox browser on the next public computer re-imaging scheduled for the summer session; however, we have not been able to find a security advantage to running the Flash plug-in on Firefox vs. Internet Explorer.
