My Accounts: Help

A quick guide to accessing your library accounts at CSU.

These accounts are free and help you make full use of library resources and services.

If you are a distance student, use the distance students library accounts page.

Before You Begin

Course registration establishes you in the CSU Libraries' systems.

You will generally need to be registered in at least 1 CSU course credit before setting up your library accounts.

You will also need to know your CSUID, a series of 9 numbers that begins with 8.

You can find your CSUID in your RamCard barcode.

Ram Card

You can also ask for your CSUID through the Registrar's office, by calling Ph.970.491.7148.

If you've forgotten your CSUID but have already set up and know your electronic identity (eID), you can login to RamWeb and find your CSUID under your name or the My Account tab.

My Record PIN

You will use this PIN to view your online library account, to renew and request library materials, and to access online library resources. You may also hear it referred to as your library PIN or Sage PIN.

Set up your PIN online.

Visit, call, or email the CSU Libraries Loan Desk if you need help:

Ph.970.491.1842 or email: circ.inquiry@library.colostate.edu

Forgot your PIN? Use the forgotyourpin button on the My Record page to submit a PIN change request.

Activate an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Account

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services help you obtain materials such as journal articles that you need for your research.

You will need your CSUID, an active email address, and a mailing address to set up your account.

You might find it helpful to read more about Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services.

Access Electronic Reserve

Your course instructors may use the CSU Libraries electronic reserve system to make course materials available to you.

No account set up is required. You will need only your CSUID to login to electronic reserve.

You might find it helpful to read more about reserves.

Now that I've set up my library accounts, where do I login?

Use the My Accounts link found in the top right-hand corner of library webpages.

The CSU Libraries' homepages for undergraduates, graduate students, distance students and faculty and staff also provide easy login buttons in the top right-hand corner.
