Primary sources—diaries, letters, drawings, and photographs, created by those who actually participated or witnessed events in the past—help to humanize history.

Archives and Special Collections at Colorado State University Libraries inspire as well as support outstanding research and teaching.The collection includes archival holdings that celebrate the history of water resources and agriculture within Colorado as well as document the history of the University. Rare books, artists' work, and digital collections also housed in the unit represent a rich wealth of unique artifacts that support a broad range of subject areas.
