All Colorado residents can borrow books from CSU Libraries. Borrowing priviledges include:
The Colorado State University Libraries provides free, equal and unrestricted access to the Internet to support the scholarly, education and information needs of the University’s diverse community of library users. The Internet provides access to a vast array of information, ideas, and research tools, including materials beyond the scope of resources selected by the Libraries. Anyone is welcome to use our collection of research databases from a computer inside a CSU Library. To use Libraries databases and electronic journals from off campus, you must be a currently enrolled CSU student or a CSU employee.
It is the mission of Colorado State University Libraries to provide equal access to information by all who request it. The Libraries is committed to assist users with disabilities in all aspects of their library research.
The First National Bank Gallery is located on the first floor of Morgan Library near the building's entrance. The gallery regularly features exhibits and displays of library collections and CSU student work. Past exhibits include Designing Women and Good Obstructions: A Show of Collaborative Art by Master of Fine Arts Students at CSU.
The South Stairway Gallery highlights special collections and other library holdings.
Checkout Our Books Display Area, conveniently located across from the loan and reserve desk, highlights materials from the print collection to enhance current events and campus conversations.
The extensive holdings of the Archives and Special Collections Unit are open to the public year-round. Materials include over 10,000 rare books and primary source materials that document the history of Colorado's water and agricultural development as well as the history of Colorado State University.
The New Books Lounge, located near the entrance of Morgan Library, features the newest publications in a variety of areas. Cram a Latte, offering coffee and limited food products (sweet rolls, cookies, bagels, etc.), is open when classes are in session during the Fall and Spring semester. The courtyard, adjacent to the lounge, is a great place to read and relax.
Sponsored largely by the Friends of CSU Libraries, the Library hosts cultural and artistic programming throughout the year for the campus and community.
