Donald Lopez offers over 21 years of experience Water Resources Engineering and Management He served as Assistant New Mexico State Engineer from 1993 to 2000 and Acting State Engineer in 1995. As a Division Director, he also managed a number of major hydrographic surveys in the major river basins throughout the state, all for the purpose of water rights adjudication. He also supervised Hydrology studies in the State’s critical management areas for basin criteria development and a number of water use studies in the state’s development of water conservation criteria. He has been employed with URS since 2000. In January 2007, Mr. Lopez was named Infrastructure Group Leader for URS New Mexico, where he supervises 18 technical/engineering staff.
