Scope of Coverage

Language: The materials are almost exclusively English or translations into English. Geographic: Emphasis is on both U.S. and International Business.

Chronological: Current, 20th-century material predominates, with emphasis within the last five years. There are some 19th-century imprints related to specific industries and companies.

Publication types and levels: Academic monographs and serials form the core of the collection, but trade journals and business and investment newsletters are selectively acquired. Popularizations and general publications are collected.

Types of Materials

Monographs and periodicals, indexes and full text databases applicable to business. Electronic access to web-based materials is essential. Much business related material, as for instance, SEC filings, are now available in full text on the Web. As CSUL is a U.S. Government Depository library a large number of government publications in paper and online format are also received.
