at Morgan Library
Welcome to Morgan Library. Please feel free to visit the New Books area, located on the First Floor near the entrance. This is a wonderful spot to browse new books and to sit and read. Additionally, please feel free to check out any of the new books. The CSU Libraries contain more than 1.8 million volumes with around 2,000 new items cataloged each month.
About the New Books Area:
Each week, new books are shelved in the New Books Area. The New Books Area is divided into broad subject areas which include:
- Arts & Music
- Humanities
- Social Sciences
- History & Political Science
- Economics & Business
- Science & Technology
- Government Documents
Browse the Lists or Search SAGE:
- Browse the Lists for Selected New Books.
- Search SAGE for books and other materials.
Request / Hold a New Book:
1) Search the Library Catalog (Sage) for the item you would like to request and be sure to CREATE YOUR PIN and REGISTER YOUR EMAIL.
2) Use the Request/Holdbutton in the Library Catalog.
Once the Loan and Reserve Department has located the item, you will receive an email and the item will be held for you at the Loan and Reserve Desk.or
3) For further assistance and help, go to the Loan and Reserve Desk or the Information Desk.
