Computer Applications Training

Computer training covering a broad range of topics is available right here on campus to faculty, staff and graduate students at no charge. If you use a personal computer you may be interested in some of the hands-on workshops on popular computer applications, including Windows, MSOffice 2007, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Discoverer Report Writing Tools, and more. A new series of CAT workshops is scheduled five times a year — twice each semester and once in the summer. Most CAT workshops require registration. Schedules are accessible through the CAT Web page as soon as they are published.

There are also demonstration seminars available for faculty, staff, and students. These seminars cover a variety of topics such as accessing the web from home, using e-mail, effective use of the Internet, and using University computer systems.
