Jessica Trytek: "So, now it's my turn. Why did you choose CSU?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "I chose CSU because it's a great school for my major and it's really close to home, and I guess there was a little bit of bias from my dad, who went here years ago."
Jessica Trytek: "Yeah, I realized that at the carnival yesterday. 'We went here and here and here.'"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "He likes to come down here and tell us where everything is."
Jessica Trytek: "Alright. So, since we're going to spend four years here, what do you want to experience?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "I would love to get involved with everything that I can, and to get to know a lot of people and play sports and do clubs and just, make the most out of college."
Jessica Trytek: "It's supposed to be the best four years of your life."
Chelsea Weiskerger: "No kidding."
Jessica Trytek: "So, what was your first meal?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "My first meal here was a chicken-parmesan Subway sandwich. It was really good. I love those Subway sandwiches."
Jessica Trytek: "What are you majoring in?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "My major is Wildlife Biology."
Jessica Trytek: "Why did you pick that?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "I picked that because it sounded like it fit me the most because, as a kid growing up, my parents would take me on camping trips all the time. I mean, I went on a camping trip before I was one year old, so there's a lot of history there, and we would always hike all over and see all the wildlife, and I just wanted to learn as much as I can about those animals and how to protect them."
Jessica Trytek: "I remember in middle-school [indistinct]"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "Yeah"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "So, what is your major?"
Jessica Trytek: "Zoology. It was the hardest thing-trying to pick my major-I went to Mr. Burn's office, and I love horses, so I was [trying to decide between] either Equine Sciences, Zoology, or-I was thinking of a different major, but I've forgotten now. I just picked Zoology because I want to be a Vet, but I don't want to be just domestic animals like cats, dogs, lizards, fish; I also want to work with horses and cattle. We went to the zoo one summer with my cousins, I saw the coolest animals there so I wanted to work in the zoo, so I picked Zoology."
Chelsea Weiskerger: "Nice. That's cool."
Jessica Trytek: "So the first time you came here, what did you think about the campus?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "I thought it was gigantic. I was so scared of it, but then it only takes a couple of days and you're like 'Oh, my class is over here. All I have to do is walk over here and I get to the student center.' Or whatever. "
Jessica Trytek: "Unlike me. I'm like 'Where are we?'"
Jessica Trytek: "I have a bad memory, so yeah."
Jessica Trytek: "Other than that, what are you going to miss most about home?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "My brother. He's so cool, and we're just really close. Not like normal siblings, so I'm really going to miss him. He annoys me a lot, but."
Jessica Trytek: "I have a feeling that he's going to come visit a lot though."
Chelsea Weiskerger: "Yeah, he'll probably be up here a lot."
Jessica Trytek: "He's waiting in the dorm when you get back from class."
Chelsea Weiskerger: "Yeah, then it might be time to kick him out."
Jessica Trytek: "Well, other than that, what advice do you have for your future self?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "I would say 'College was really great, and your job and career is going to be really great, so just make the most out of it, and have a lot of fun.'"
Jessica Trytek: "Make the most out of what you have?"
Chelsea Weiskerger: "Yeah! Exactly!"
