Pat Shanks: "Hi."

Cassidy Isch: "So, Pat, will you please tell me your name, your year in college, and where you're from."
Pat Shanks: "Pat Shanks, Senior, and I'm from Evergreen, Colorado."

Cassidy Isch: "Great. Can you tell me how we became friends?"
Pat Shanks: "I just saw you one day and I thought you were really cute and so I introduced myself."

Cassidy Isch: "Great, and can you also tell me the date and time of the interview?"
Pat Shanks: "8.I mean."

Cassidy Isch: ".August 18th, 2006."
Pat Shanks: ".10:42."

Cassidy Isch: "Thanks, Pat."

Cassidy Isch: "Why did you choose CSU?"
Pat Shanks: "Um. 'Cause it's beautiful and it's not Boulder."

Cassidy Isch: "Mmm hmm. Thanks. And what do you want from your CSU experience?"
Pat Shanks: "Um. I want to look back with fond memories."

Cassidy Isch: "Mmm hmm"
Pat Shanks: ".And instilled Ram-pride in residents and had good experiences with my halls and just have a really good time."

Cassidy Isch: "That's great."
Pat Shanks: ".And learn a lot about myself"

Cassidy Isch: "Great. Remember to speak clearly. Next question: I know this might take a long time, but can you remember back to your first meal on campus and tell us: what was it like?"
Pat Shanks: "My very first meal was when I was in a senior in high school and I was up here for uh, a Justice For All meeting because my high school came up here and hung-out, and then my friend, Dan Galendo took me to eat at Parmalee."

Cassidy Isch: "And what was it like?"
Pat Shanks: "It was weird."

Cassidy Isch: "Did you enjoy that experience?"
Pat Shanks: "MmHmm"

Cassidy Isch: "Good. Next question: What was your first impression of the CSU campus?"
Pat Shanks: "Nice."

Cassidy Isch: "Good. What do you miss most about home, Pat?"
Pat Shanks: "My family and Evergreen lake."

Cassidy Isch: "And do you have any advise for your future-self, Pat Shanks?"
Pat Shanks: "Um. Love God and love people."

Cassidy Isch: "Great, thanks. Thanks for sharing your RamStory. We had a great time doing it."
Pat Shanks: "Yeah, we did."
