| Abstract: | Contributed by the Sterling Arts Council, this collection includes copies of family histories, newspaper articles, and other items related to an arts event honoring Japanese Americans which was held in Sterling, Colorado, in May 1979. "The Five Noguchi Sisters Exhibit" paid tribute to the artistic talents of the daughters of Minosuke and Tomi Noguchi who settled in Logan County on 1898. Brief histories of the following families are included: Inouye, Kinoshita, Kobayashi, Kosuge, Otsuka, Shimamoto, and Yoshimoto. | |
