Enhancing Library Services for Graduate Students

Federated Search

The Libraries have embarked on an exciting research study to better understand how doctoral candidates perform their academic work. The results will help us to build a Web-based search and information discovery tool that will interface with research resources, Internet-based tools and repository services for you and future graduate students of Colorado State.

Please complete this survey of CSU doctoral candidates by Thursday, May 22. We anticipate that the survey will take between ten and fifteen minutes to complete. There are no known risks in participating.

On this survey form, please indicate if you want to participate in the second phase of this study. If you are selected, the study researcher will interview you in-depth about your research approaches. This video-taped interview will occur sometime in May or June, 2008.

Survey respondents who supply contact information are enrolled in a drawing for one of three free iPods. In addition, twenty-five flash drives and ten coffee cards will also be awarded by random selection.

If you have any questions about your rights as a volunteer in this research, please contact Janell Barker, Human Research Administrator, at 970.491.1655. Other questions? Contact:
