Improved site search

Google Mini

Colorado State University Libraries has upgraded its site search by using a Google Mini.

Some benefits to you include:

  • Easier to use - The search results are displayed in a familiar Google interface.
  • CSU Libraries look and feel - The search results page is integrated into the site design, so you can easily navigate to other pages.
  • Removed duplicates – Results are grouped and multiple similar results are hidden.
  • KeyMatch - When you type an often used search term such as e-journals or e-reserve, the page we think you are looking for appears in a box at the top of the search results.
  • More content - More pages and files are indexed and searched, including wikis, blogs, digital collections, and pages in multiple Web applications and servers.
  • Collections - You can search a subset of pages which may be in multiple folders, such as Tutorials and Instruction.

To use this search, go to the CSU Libraries home page or search page and select the CSU Libraries Web Site option.
