John Calderazzo, Co-Director of Changing Climates @ CSU said, "It's more obvious every day that climate change is one of the largest, most complicated, and urgent challenges we face on this planet, which is the only home we have. And the answers to it can't come from just one government, one country, one point of view. The problem requires new and exciting thinking and action on many fronts, simultaneously. This two-day forum will look at a lot that is already being done, locally and beyond, and much that is in the works."
SueEllen Campbell, Co-Director of Changing Climates @ CSU, remarked, “The biggest uncertainty about climate change is what we're going to do about it.There are lots of things we can do, need to do, and so we wanted to focus this year's series of talks and workshops on some of these actions---things each of us can do individually, things researchers and students at CSU are doing, and actions that are being taken locally and nationally. We hope these talks---many of them by distinguished scientists and scholars, others by involved citizens---will give everyone some ideas about what they can do to help tackle the challenge."
