GLBT Awareness Days
In Celebration of GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual,
Transgender) Awareness Days this April, the Library is exhibiting books
from the print collection. The display is conveniently located across
from the Loan Desk and will run from April 6th through the 21st, 2006.
Titles on display include: "Boston Marriages," "Bisexual Women in
the 21st Century," "Midlife and Older LGBT Adults," "Love, Ellen: A
Mother/Daughter Journey," "Serving in Silence," plus many more.
This is the second installment of
"Check Out Our Books!", a new series
of book displays designed to showcase our print collection.
We invite you to stop by our display, check out a book or two, or pick
up a copy of our booklist with additional titles from our collection on
the topic. There is also a suggestion box located at the display for you
to recommend future topics to showcase!
