The Colorado Agriculture Bibliography Web-Searchable Database is one component of a larger national-level agriculture project sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). The database includes over 16,000 books, theses, dissertations, journals, government reports, archive collections, and other documents published from 1820-1945 about Colorado agriculture and rural life. The subject areas covered include: Colorado agriculture, rural life, education, water, transportation, tourism, mining, and other topics of prominence. The database enhances service by providing access to information previously only found in print and often obscure indexes. It promotes CSU library visibility/outreach by being a freely available Web document, of interest both inside and outside of Colorado. It provides access to information not found in SAGE, Prospector, or WorldCat. The Bright Idea or Project Award winners who created the Colorado Agriculture Bibliography are: Allison Level |
